Does anyone know a 65L backpack that is around $70? Nice video!
Never thought Neil Patrick Harris would teach me about backpacking, but
thank you very much! It was helpful!
Woah… that backpack is almost bigger than you!
Lifestraw… thats all i can say… in an emergency… it will save you…
at minimal weight!
I like your little net bags! I have’nt seen this type before. What brand
are they?
Another great video as usual, thanks Luke.
Lol I missed this vid Luke, have fun with that , new classic line.
So on and so forth
“So on and so forth” Hahaha
Excellent video. I’ve been trolling the backpacking vids and your
explanations are solid.
Haha, if you want to wipe your butt with leaves…have fun with that, just
don’t wipe with poison oak.
Great video. My son watched it and immediately wanted me to take him to the
various outdoor gear and surplus stores to take him to buy his own gear
(apparently mine isn’t good enough : ) We’ll done!!
Great awesome video bro. I guess the orientation kit/gear are important as
well.
Awesome dude!! Definitely loved this video and it was for sure geared
towards someone like me! Love your videos Luke!! You got one of the best
channels on youtube! Thanks for sharing in your knowledge and taking us on
your journeys!
Awesome! Forgot the can of beans, though…
“So on & so forth.”
Excellent video, nonetheless!
So on and so forth
That was very helpful Luke for a newbe like me
take care
Luke, what size gregory pack do u use? And how tall are? Just out of
curiosity. Thanks man~
Goo video and informative.
Hey luke great video as always. Just one thing i’d like to add to complete
the five C’s of survivability is cordage, not too much just about 30 feet
of jute twine. I know that backpacking/camping and survival are very
different but I think its important for every camper or hiker to have some
basic survival knowledge and items. Therefore is you do follow the 5 C’s of
survivability then cordage is important and could definitely come in handy
while camping. Thank you again
Great video, always helpful, thanks bro!!!
Great vid, should be shooting that stuff out this week!
Love the video, your basics seem obvious but sometimes it the obvious
things that are overlooked so thanks for putting it out there….”so on and
so forth!!!”
Great video Luke.
Why do you pronounce steel “still”? :/
Very good ideas. Thanks
the panty hose is actually quite resourceful
Why would someone make fun of you for using pantyhose in a survival
situation? If you have friends who would do that, they’re not friends..
they’re ridiculous redneck meatheads.
Very good ideas. Thanks
There are dozens of things pantyhose are useful for, including part of a
particle filter for water, temporary replacement radiator belt for your
car, strainer for paint & almost anything else and lots, lots more. No one
should be razzing you about the pantyhose.
and you can use the panty hose to make coffee with …
After watching this video I thought I would make a run to my local
Goodwill. Believe it or not I found an old Girl Scout mess kit, complete
with all items inside. Awesome
every item you picked up from the thrift store had the exact same bar code
Sir, as I saw u have no axe or saw tipe cuting/spliting capabilitis for
making some smaller wood… I would recomend u geting a Farson Blade
Survival Tool – From Fremont Knives, which is very light and usfull
ps. soory for my bed speling ^.^
Panty hose are good to sleep in when it’s cold out
do u live in marryland
Monster rocks because they tell you it rocks.
And many and I mean many men use panty hose to layer for winter warmth
during hunting, backpacking and even during a major snow shoveling. Let
wives, girlfriends and anyone who wears hose a lot and they can show you a
layer of warmth you never knew,
this guy is great. enjoying the videos!
US Navy Seals wore pantyhose in Vietnam to keep leeches off of them while
standing in rivers all night long waiting in ambush. Tease one of them
about it.
That was pretty creative work you did there. I would have never thought
about using pantyhose for a stuff sack, but that did work rather well.
Great video, I am going to make a little stove also, I am going camping
this weekend with my family for the very first time. Thank you for the
video :-)
Knee hi are going to be used here and also using the second one for washing
up the dishes after a meal,
I can think of at least 20 things you could use pantyhose for which
shatters the “it must have 3 uses to be packed” rule.
I love your ideas. I have a suggestion. Can you make a video of just uses
for other things. Such as your idea of bread clips for clothes pins that
you talked about in another video. I’m always looking for ideas on this
subject. And there are none here on you tube. I’ve looked. Just anything
that would be needed or could come in handy to lighten or cut down the bulk
of the load when camping or back packing
Pantyhose are also good for touching up the polish on army boots. They pack
down small enough to keep in your pocket. It was the worst kept secret when
I did military service.:)
I will be looking out for some pantyhose, tho!
Nicely designed, but won’t be making me trade in my new Powerpot :D
