Hey there, I was curious about your LMFII I recently bought one and was
curious what method you use to sharpen your Gerber and have you been able
    to get it razor sharp?

Cool video btw thanks for the work!

Im not sure if its already been said but if you want the paint to strip
faster, Jasco has provided quick results for me.

I’m more of a bowie knife fan myself, but your work is pretty enough it
makes me think I ought to pick up a BK2. My favorite is the CS Trail
Master, which goes with me about everywhere, as I live way back in the
Canadian woods. But I also have a small BK17 I use for butchering game and
woodworking. Becker makes some nice, tough knives.

how in the world did you take the Gerber apart Luke or if not how did you
do that. my infantry coating is scraped up want to do that to it would be
awesome if you could help me out Thanks.

I stripped the coating off mine and then etched it with boiling vinegar,
then shook it in a bottle of rocks for like 4 hours, and it looks really
nice with a aged tumbled look. Definitely suggest trying it!

Very nice. You did a good job. I may do the same to my bk2.

Some wooden handles would fit better the “classic” look you’ve acheived
    with patina and notching.
    Otherwise nice work!

Hey Luke, when you finish the BK2, give that painters scraper some
    attention.
