You wasted a lot of time on common sense crap. Goes to show that any
boring curmodgeon can post crap on you-tube ! You should have set your tent
under that tree! Oh, by the way the dead animal you smell is your
neighbors dead cat. You are just behind their house. Look over the rise!

Look at video spot 13:25, you can see power lines behind you. That camping
spot is really close to home! It also is groomed, prepped, and has all the
comforts of a well used site! Fireplace, stone bench, big metal grill,
tarp covered wood pile, and more. No roughing it for you, is what I am
seeing, eh ? Beans, beans the musical fruit, the more you eat the more you
toot! The more you toot, the better you feel ! So eat beans for every meal
    ! :)

You can wash the Tyvek cloth in a machine or scrunch it up in a bucket or
stream, no soap needed. This will soften it and make it much more quiet.
And it will not lose any waterproof characteristics. FYI

are you having a bigfoot encounter? 28:48 to 28:51 i see one maybe two
large dark shapes in background that arn’t there in other video of same
area. One seems to move just as you pan 28:51 Followed quickly by drifting
stink and of course that tree that falls over in the night…also that
smell you don’t mention again, usually if u camp next to carrion the smell
doesn’t leave but gets worse… and the other unexplained sound u heard
later, probably sounded like rock hitting wood.. also i’ve watched your
other videos and you just don’t seem yourself in this one..just sayen….
    Great video sir stay safe

I can seriously identify with the ‘road trip’. I hauled my Blazer behind a
Penske truck to Oklahoma from Ohio, and then used my Blazer to haul all my
stuff back, 6 months later after the work was finished. What I didn’t know
was that my Blazer’s front tire had a bubble in the center of the tread
that developed in Tulsa (right at the beginning of the trip). I spent 18
‘near-death-experience-hours’ getting back to Ohio in one piece while
hauling all my stuff in this enormous Uhaul trailer. When I got home after
that white knuckle hell of a trip. My Blazer was sitting in my driveway
when I noticed this huge bubble on the driver’s front tire. It suddenly
just BLEW UP while sitting there. Later on a girlfriend of mine said that
she was up all night and day praying that I would make it safely home.
    Hmmmm! Thank you GOD!
Oh and thanks for sharing this video. I would ask one thing though. Do you
not worry about heating your cans of food over the fire when it may leak
several bad toxins into your beans or other food? Just a thought. I don’t
think I wouldn’t do that unless I had to. Take care Brother.

Hey I’m not saying you can’t start a fire without magnesium shavings or it
makes you any less of a man than a ferro rod does, but dude that flame on
both occasions looked like it was something else FLARING up from just a
spark? The shavings should be a nice candle type of growth in the flame
    not a flare.

Hey I read all the comments before I was about to rank on you as well.
Actually good idea owning and tending the property. As you said you just
use it for personal fun and reviews. So no negative comments from me. I
have to agree with Bigfoot comment though be careful. If a tree falls for
no apparent reason, it didn’t fall on its own. And the wandering smell is
another sign you are not alone. If there is a dead carrion in the area and
you tend the property I would move it away to a farther location, no sense
in drawing in lions and bears (or Sasquatch) to a family camp area. The
apples are bad enough for bears anyway. Just a thought.

You’re like the nicest person ever. I imagine if a bear ran into you it
would apologize for intruding on your video and walk away.

I was camping at the coast and had a 30 foot main branch come down and hit
the tent. They do make a sound lol

If a tree fell that close to my tent…the inside of the tent would be
    painted brown.

the powder may just be talc so the moisture as you blow the pad up does not
collect inside. it looks far better than what i can get in england.

I just saw a guy on YT use a pencil sharpener on some twigs, to create some
fine kindling. Seems like a pretty good idea that I’m going to try. I
enjoyed your video. Thanks for posting. –Scott

I usually bring a lb of rice and maybe 2-3 packs of ramen noodles keep it
light weight as much as possible when I go out on excursions, fish and
small game is usually the staple of my diet and have the rice for back up
    rations.
