It serves triple duty as an insulated jacket, a thermal midlayer and a sleek micro-belay parka on quick alpine dashes - sometimes all in the same day (or night, when the dash isn't so quick). The simple, elasticized hood opening - now with a better under-helmet fit - adds thermostat-like warmth, and the low-bulk, hydrophobic, highly compressible PrimaLoftA(R) ONE (60-g) traps heat with remarkable efficiency, even when wet. The wind-blocking, moisture-shedding 100% recycled polyester shell glides effortlessly in your layering system, and the fit is improved through the torso and waist. We've also added a soft, wicking interior storm flap and zipper garage for chin comfort, and resized the Nano Puff's classic "brick" quilt pattern, now with horizontal quilt lines on the side panels, and burly thread for enhanced durability. The hoody stuffs into an internal, zippered chest pocket that has a carabiner clip-in loop. It also has two zippered handwarmer pockets, elasticized cuffs and a dual-adjust drawcord hem to seal out wind and seal in warmth.
