Patagonia Petrolia Pack - 28L - New - Named for the small Northern California town where you can tuck away and rediscover yourself on the rugged Lost Coast. Our largest top-loading backpack, the Petrolia has a zippered-entry design for easy access to your gear and enough room inside to hold all the goods for a full day on the trail. A dedicated side-access laptop pocket, raised above the bottom of the pack to protect your electronics, allows you to keep your 15" or smaller machine inside the pack as you pass through security; it also doubles as a hydration pocket when youre traversing open country. The large main compartment holds bulkier items like a harness, shoes and a rain shell and has an internal organizational panel to ferry your small essentials securely. A zippered stash pocket on the lid keeps a map or phone within reach and two stretch-woven side pockets carry water bottles or your hat and gloves. Breathable Air Flow-mesh shoulder straps and back panel provide cool, all-day comfort under heavy loads. A front stretch-mesh pocket expands to hold a sweater or a damp towel after your afternoon of skinny-dipping in Tuolumne. The body is made from 450-denier 100% recycled polyester plain weave and lined with 200-denier 100% polyester. The base is 450-denier 100% recycled polyester ripstop, and all fabrics have a DWR (durable water repellent) finish.
