Description
The Salomon XDR 78 ST is a fantastic ski for the athletic beginner up to solid intermediate skier who wants a lightweight, forgiving and stable ski to improve with. The Semi Sandwich Construction uses a cap construction in the tip and tail with a vertical sidewall underfoot that allows for easy skidding of turns without any sacrifice to edge grip when conditions get icy or firm. A Basalt Layer reinforces the Woodcore to provide stability and smooth skiing without adding extra weight to the ski. Salomon’s All-Terrain Rocker 2.0 helps you ease into and out of turns if you are snowplowing, skidding or starting to carve a turn. The Pulse Pad is made from vibration dampening materials that absorb vibrations to give you a smoother ride down the mountain. A Ti Power Zone has a small Titanal layer underneath the binding platform that adds a little extra rigidity, just underfoot for added support and stability. If you are mellow skier who is looking for a lightweight ski that will help you improve rapidly, the Salomon XDR 78 ST is a perfect option for you.
