I love grandfather Mountain… my family and my best friends family go to
Asheville for spring break every year.. 6 years ago i was 11 and we went to
grandfather mountain… the day we went it was really cold and the week
before it snowed. we only got half way where the cable wraps around part of
the side of the mountain where you have to scramble up a few 100 feet. I
was so mad we didn’t finish it. last year I finally talked everyone into
hiking grandfather mountain again. We finally finished it but everyone was
to scared to go back down the hard part, so we had to go down the other
way. That is by far my favorite hike in Asheville. Hope you had fun.
