Good honest review. Like you stated there are other clones with similar
features. I agree the Maxpedition is not really worth it financially.
However I chose the VooDoo clone as it has much better compression straps
    from the top down.

I am looking to create a couple emergency bags for both our vehicles. Do
you think these would have enough space for this task? Cheers, Greg

I have two questions. One being, is this bag pretty much the same thing as
“Red Rock Outdoor Gear Assault Pack” found on Amazon, and two what is the
size of this bag in volume (Liters or Cubic Inches). I am asking because I
liked the design of this pack but i want something in between 2500 to 3500
    cubic in.
    Thanks.

I own one of these packs. And it’s a great EDC pack. I have used it on 3
outings, but I pack very lite and carry some supplies on my person.

The Red Rock pack being demo-ed – is it the small, medium or large variant?
Looking at the line or bags on Amazon, and trying to discern which one this
    is.

Another question, seeing that this pack is made out of 600D Polyester vs
Nylon, I wonder what full experience you’ve had between the two materials.
Nearly everything I’ve read (and I admit I’m a complete newbie at all of
this stuff) has basically boiled down to “Cordura or go home!” Thoughts?

Hey Luke! Really enjoyed this review. I am however on the fence between
the rebel assault pack (which I assume from the specs is the same as your
pack just with a different color scheme) and the red rock gear engagement
pack. I will mainly use the pack for day hikes with my small children…
water (lots of it), cutting tools, fire starting items, extra clothes,
bandanas, etc… just very basic camp stuff. Would you recommend one over
the other? Thanks in advance for your advice.
