For the amount of money you pay for the Duratrax 245 I would not get it
because it can only charge up to 3s and it does not have the option to
cycle charge and storage charge. Other than that it is a good charger. I
just could have gotten a better one for the same price.
do not run with diffs locked in high range … ever. sure your going to
forget to hit that switch every once in a while, but try to keep it to a
minimum. The T- lock gears are plastic and were not designed for high
speeds which will shear the teeth right off. It is also a good idea to
shift and T-Lock at crawling pace so that the gear teeth mesh better when
changing them. your gears and servos will last longer.
Almost forgot‚ i seen that u said it takes about 7 hours with the balance
chargers and it did also for me‚ if u are lookin for a charger that charges
both at the same time in an hour‚ i recommend the duratrax onyx245 that wuz
119 at my hobby shop
I think the manual says not to run it locked all the time or when running
in high range. I’ll Check on that. I have ran mine for short periods in
high range with diffs locked and not had any problems so far.

I was wondering, is it okay if the Summit is running with locked-diff all
the time or just when you need it? Thanks.
Can Anybody Tell Me What the squeaking is?
From the point the Low voltage detection kicks on, about 7 hours.
I haven’t had any problems with the servos acting up so far but I haven’t
taken it through anything deep yet.
My shift servo doesnt do anything and my rear diff lock struggles…i wuz
only driving it through wet sand/dirt so idk..
