There are lineups and then there are lineups; the new Wavefarer Engineered Board Shorts add a more refined touch to a tried-and-true design. A version of the classic Wavefarers with fully matched front, back and side stripes and prints, they're bombproof surf trunks that will see you through years of full-on use. Made of a quick-drying 3.9-oz Supplex nylon (38% recycled) with 50+ UPF sun protection and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish, they have a natural fit and 3-piece, self-lined waistband that contours to the hip. The forward inseam helps eliminate chafing in the water, and the flat-lying fly with single rubber button is optimized for comfort while paddling. The closure is a bartacked ladderlock drawstring for security and durability; the self-draining thigh pocket has a noncorroding plastic zipper, internal key loop and added zipper pull for ease of use.
