I’d love to reply to some of these comments but due to the ‘awesome’
changes on youtube I can’t do that. – Also the ‘F’ is for Family. haha I
still see FANCY on some forums. Haha

The good thing about military packs is that they are built to last, a
civilian would never wear one out, these things are built for heavy abuse.

Should i get this in the complete system or surplus british plce bergen,
webbing, the smock you reviewed and pants or/and shirt? Very subjective but
what are your(viewers as well) opinions?

Luke – I’m curious how you found the fit of the main pack. I’m just shy of
5’9″, and the waistpad of an empty FILBE rides well above my waist.

Interesting that Eagle industries make both the FILBE and the Molle II
    rucksack

wait until it’s here whoop whoops.

Thanks for this review. I am amazed how large this thing is and what all
comes with it. Many things that I’m looking to get.

Great Review. Also, If the Marine Corps rates it as 100% water proof…As a
Marine Vet I can tell you they mean you can tread water in it without your
stuff getting wet. That is what USMC “Water proof” is. That was also one of
the main issues we had with the ILBE system. We had to pack our stuff in
zip lock bags in order to get the bag to float since we are taught to use
our packs as a flotation device to help swim in full combat load. So if the
Corps designation says 100%, that means its meant to strap air and keep
things dry to help it float. It means you can throw it in a pool or the
ocean and it will stay dry.
